The small neighborhood eatery evolved into one of the most highly awarded restaurants in Royal Oak. The evolution of this café and lounge saw a complete transition from a single-cuisine menu to a multiple cuisine format representing several countries within the Mediterranean region while reaching out to many of the vegetarian clientele. The menu focuses on American, Greek and Middle Eastern.
Boukie's is open for Breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night dining and uses only the freshest and finest ingredients. The use of zero trans fat oils, non-msg spices, natural preservatives, Certified Angus Beef etc. are all a testament to Boukie's philosophy of delivering the best dining experience. Boukie's also packages and sells a line of spices and its signature Racy Red hot sauce from it’s very own spice company called the Spice Bazaar.
The ambiance is warm, casual and fun. The Mediterranean art pieces and accessories adorn the walls to give the true feeling of being taken to another place. Both locations have a main dining room and outside patio which can accommodate approximately 150 guests at a time
